A brief guide for 'spiritual folk'

Are you a narcissist in love with the image of your own moral/spiritual character?

If you are then you need this guide to deal with those who threaten your self-image in internet forums…

A brief guide for 'spiritual folk';
How to attack people who make you feel uncomfortable.

Introduction

As ‘spiritual folk’ we encounter people who threaten our carefully guarded sense of self-righteousness, this can be troublesome and interfere with self-love. Critical questioning must be stifled quickly and effectively - but most importantly - under the sanctimonious presentation of 'benevolence', 'open-heartedness' and 'wisdom'.

On to the 4 key principles….

1) EMOTIONAL ALOOFNESS

Insinuate or claim you were entertained, amused, or laughed at the person’s perspective on X.

Example;
I was amused by X.
[Insert Quote] (smiley emoticon) It seems you think that…

Reason; It is important to establish early on to your intended target and the audience, that you are not in an offended, annoyed, or manipulative mental state. No one has access to your non-verbal communication and thus deception can be easily achieved.

It is also important to establish early on in the pretence that you are emotionally superior to your target, an easy way to accomplish this is by claiming you have are in a state of light-heartedness after viewing their perspective on X.

Ridicule is an excellent and quick method of establishing this principle, but it must be carefully hidden under the pretence of 'light-heartedness'.

2) CHARACTER ASSASINATION/AD HOMINEM

Insinuate or present the case that their behaviour or perspective on X is because of/ exposes their; ignorance, arrogance, closed mindedness, lack of mental clarity, etc.

Example;
It is clear that you are close-minded.
It is clear that you lack the humility to see that…

Reason; It is important to try to break the focus of your target so that they stray from valid points, rational debate and evidence, the easiest way do so is to engage in character assassination, the formal term for this is ad hominem.

Once you have them in an offended or annoyed state - and they have made some ‘not too rational’ posts as a result - you can then use their posts to your advantage as proof of their 'destitute' character.

3) THEY ARE BLIND

Insinuate or present the claim that they would be able to see their own mistaken perceptions on X if they were willing to accept and put aside their; closed mindedness, arrogance, ignorance, etc.

Example;
If you weren’t so arrogant you’d see that…
People who are humble are open to…

Reason; It is important to try to make them feel guilty or arrogant for having their own perspective, and having the desire assert or defend it - autonomy is best discouraged by cultivating self-censorship.

Even making baseless claims made after on little or no meaningful communication with the target will cause the more insecure/naive ’spiritual dudes’ to question themselves and become hesitant .

4) GARRISON SUPPORT

Insinuate or present the claim that they are calling the audience or group of individuals affiliated with X as stupid, ignorant, idiots, bad people, etc.

Example;
[insert name of target] seems to believe that we are all brainwashed…
[insert quote] Does anyone else find this as arrogant/absurd/stupid as I do?

Reason; It is important to try to manipulate the audience into believing that anyone who sees validity in your target’s perspective also belongs in the box of; arrogant, ignorant, etc.

Insecure/naive ‘spiritual’ dudes will be inclined to automatically self-reflect, no matter how baseless or motivated by dubious intentions. This fosters a culture of self-censorship… Exactly the kind of obsequious, ideological stranglehold your trying to cultivate and maintain!

However the most important thing about this principle is you can use it to garrison other ‘spiritual folk’. Other ’spiritual folk’ will provide multiple condemning, or ad hominem posts towards the target, who then has to address multiple personalities and points.

Once the quality and depth of your targets posts begin to dilute you know that your closed to vanquishing or minimalizing another foe.

If non of the above Priniciples work - meaning if they don’t self-destruct and leave the forum or thread when besieged by recriminations, ad hominem, and simultaneous debates - then you have 2 options…

1) If it’s your own forum BAN THEM. Use one of the 4 principles as the reasoning behind your decision.

2) If it’s not your own forum LEAVE. Use one of the 4 principles as the reasoning behind your decision.

IT’S THAT SIMPLE!

An example of mastery
. The whole thread is GOLD!
